How to add a frame to your profile picture
- Add your photo and drag and zoom so your face sits well inside the frame. The frame is shown on the crop area as you work.
- Pick a starting design or type your own message, then choose Full ring or Arc and the text position.
- Set the colours and thickness. Check the small previews: that's roughly how big your picture appears next to posts and emails.

Tips for a frame that works small
- Keep the message short. Two or three words are readable even at small sizes; a sentence isn't.

- Take it off when it's done its job. A "Now hiring" frame that stays up for a year stops meaning anything.

Can I use this frame on LinkedIn?
Yes. Download the square PNG and upload it as your LinkedIn photo. LinkedIn crops to a circle, and the frame sits right at the edge of that circle, so it shows up intact. It's your own design, separate from LinkedIn's built-in #OpenToWork and #Hiring frames, which you add inside LinkedIn itself.
Will the frame show on every platform?
On any site that shows profile pictures as circles (Google, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, Slack, Teams), yes. On sites that use rounded squares, the corners of the square around your ring may show, so choose white corners there if transparent ones look odd.
How long can the text be?
Up to 32 characters, but short messages work best. Profile pictures are often shown at 40 to 100 pixels, where long text becomes unreadable. The tool warns you when the text is too long for the ring.
What's the difference between Full ring and Arc?
Full ring goes all the way around your photo. Arc is a curved band behind the text only, which covers less of your face and looks more like a badge.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. The frame is drawn and the PNG is created in your browser. Your photo never reaches our servers.
